Visit us
For the most accurate measurement we recommend you visit us as we can help advise you which finger size is best for you based on our years of experience. However we recognise that this is not always possible, so here are some alternative suggestions. Please be aware that some should be used for guidance only and also read our notes regarding our conditions when supplying your own measurements.Visit another jeweller
If you can’t visit us then try asking your local jewellers if they wouldn’t mind measuring your finger for you. Most are happy to oblige and don’t usually charge, although some may ask you to donate something to a charity box. Either way we’d recommend asking anyway. If you do this we would need to know whether it’s a leading edge or centre measurement.Printable measuring guide
For guidance only you can download our printable ring sizer. This will give you a ring sizing belt to wrap around your finger, or if you have an existing ring that fits the correct finger then simply lay that over the circles to find your size.Buy one of our ring measurers
Another option is to purchase a plastic ring measurer from us. There are different ones available but we’d recommend you purchase the same one that we use as this eliminates any slight differences between different types.Ring size stick for measuring an existing ring: £10.00
Ring sizer for measuring a finger: £10.00
What to be aware of when measuring your own fingers
The wider the ring, the tighter the fit, so if you choose a ring with a deep band width, you will likely need to go one size up. Avoid measuring your fingers when you are hot because your fingers swell in the heat and the measurement may then be too big. Equally, avoid measuring when you’re cold because the measurement is likely to read too small.Ring Size Conversion chart
Unfortunately ring measurements are not universal. In the UK we use letters but other countries use numbers, but even these are different. So if you do have a size that isn’t a UK one please refer to our conversion chart below. If you have an inside circumference measurement of an existing ring you can also use this chart as a guide of finger size.
Our conditions when supplying your own measurement
If you buy a ring and it’s the wrong size and we haven’t measured your finger then we are happy to exchange or adjust it for you if it is from stock. However this doesn’t apply to customised, made to order or bespoke pieces. In these instances we would always advise that we measure your finger.Get in touch and we’ll help you find the perfect fit for you perfect ring.
